As a member of Jewel City 29 Toastmasters, you will learn listening,
thinking and speaking skills and get to apply these skills each week. You
will receive immediate feedback on your progress. Extensive educational
materials are available to members in the areas of communication,
leadership, effective listening, conducting meetings, training and
management.
The program is self-paced, hands on, and fun! All meetings are organized
and run by the club members. JC 29 offers you a supportive environment
where you will learn to speak effectively, conduct meetings, delegate,
motivate, persuade, listen and think clearly. We learn by being exposed to
a wide range of communication experiences and leadership roles. You
practice and improve your skills by following the assignments in the
Communication and Leadership manuals. Cost is minimal and therefore
affordable compared to seminars charging hundreds of dollars per day.
